According to the ship information provided by the owner,Cooler jacket for unit 3 main engine need to replace , As a result, service team conducted dismantling and repair operations on Apr 13, 2024 at the Ningbo/CHA Port.
Progress:
Check and dismantle unit 3 main engine bolts and accessory.
M/E nameplate，Check unit 3 M/E，Use hydraulic tools dismantle accessory
Progress:
Replaced cooler Jacket and clean piston & liner & cyl cover
1.Pull up the cyl cover with crane and polish and clean the bottom contact surface
2.Pull up the piston unit with crane and polish and clean the piston surface and stuffing box
3.Pull out the old cylinder jacket, remove the it, and clean and polish the cylinder jacket
4.Replace the o-ring and replace cooler jacket, reassemble the cylinder liner
Progress:
Reinstall of cylinder cover, piston unit and all accessories
1.Reinstall of cylinder liner and lubricate piston
2.Reinstall the piston unit and connect it to the cross-head, tighten the bolts on the cross-head shaft and install the safety wire.
3.Reinstall cyl cover, tighten bolts and all accessories
