Project description:

As the required of CMA CGM, CMD service team attended on subject vessel CMA CGM CONCORDE during YangShan port on 25th,Jan,2024.

Progress:

M-0465 M/E NO.08 PISTON ROD STUFFING BOX OVERHAULING

No.5 stuffing box overhauling, renewal scraper rings and extension springs 7sets
Turning to bottom dead center for install special supports
Turning up to stop point and remove bolts of housing
Pull out the stuffing box complete
Install stuffing box platform
Cleaning housing and remove O-ring
Dismantle stuffing box
Replace scraper rings and extension springs
Removed scrapers and extension springs
New parts
Reassemble stuffing box

Progress:

replace 2pcs housing rings

Security stuffing box completed
Loosen piston rod bolts special hydraulic tool
Install piston rod security special tool
Security piston rod on M/E
Replace housing O-rings
Reassemble back stuffing box and tightening bolts
After replaced check with 2/E
Cleaning the crankcase

Progress:

M-0562 MAIN ENGINE CYL #O6 EXHAUST VALVE AIR SPRING PISTON FAILURE

Dismantle and inspection exhaust valve air spring piston within good condition .Unit No.2,No.3,No.4,No10,No11,renewal air spring piston inner O-ring(039),renewal O-ring(041) between distance ring and guide bush
Remove attachments
Remove top housing
Remove bottom housing
Check/inspection piston seal ring in good condition
Stack the wooden blocks and put them in the piston head from scavenging and Turning up to stop point
Remove valve cotters and piston
Renewal air spring piston inner O-ring(039)
Remove the distance ring and renewal O-ring(041) between distance ring and guide bush
Reassemble back all parts
Torquing the bolts and mark
Torquing all bolts and mark
Replaced O-rings from unit2.3.4.10.11
