Project description:

At the request of MSC, the CMD service team conducted the service on board MSC RAYA in Ningbo Port on 28th.Dec.2023.

Progress:

GCR-171:ME unit No.1 EXV

ME EXV#1 Overhaul replace old exhaust valve with new gasket&O-ring as spare parts.

Dismantled the attached from M/E CLY #1    
Remove expansion joint
Remove EXV valve complete from M/E
Clean the exhaust valve seat surface and replace it with a new gasket
Reinstall the expansion joint, replace the exhaust valve and apply sealant, reinstall and tighten the bolts and mounting accessories
Remove the old exhaust valve and top/bottom housing
Cleaning and replace o-ring,Re-assemble guide bush
Assemble stem and top housing, tighten bolts
After assembly,cleaning the old cylinder cover and preserve,as spare parts.
Replace new exhaust valve.

Progress:

GCR-172:ME unit No.3 EXV

Overhaul:Gasket spare parts replaced

Dismantled the attached from M/E CLY #3    
Remove expansion joint
Check the exhaust valve base and find leaks,and cleaning
Replaced EXV seat surface gasket
Re-assemble exhaust valve    

Progress:

GCR-173:ME unit No.2＆No.4--No.11 EXV

Due to the loosening of the bolt, the working pressure does not meet the requirements, and the bolt needs to be re-tightened by hydraulic pressure to 1500bar

No.2, No.4--No.11 exhaust valve measuring working pressure is less than 1500bar    
The bolts should be hydraulically tightened again, and working pressure after tightening should reach the required 1500bar
