Project description:
At ship's request, ours service team conducted the service on board SAIC ANJI SINCERITY in Shanghai Port on March 17, 2026.
Progress:
Preparation & Safety Lockout
1.1Shut down main engine, release residual pressure, implement LOTO lockout with warning tags
1.2 Prepare tools, genuine spare parts and cleaning supplies; arrange parts orderly
1.3 Disassemble valve assembly carefully, mark parts, clean and inspect valve seat, stem and packing chamber
Progress:
Valve Seat Repair
2.1Rough Lapping: Apply coarse lapping paste, grind evenly to remove scratches/ indentation; no over-grinding
2.2 Fine Lapping: Use fine lapping paste, polish sealing surface for tight disc fit
2.3 Clean & Inspect: Wipe residual paste, check flatness and clearance with feeler gauge
Progress:
Packing Replacement
3.1 Remove aged hardened packing fully, clean packing chamber thoroughly
3.2 Install new OEM packing, stagger joints and compact layer by layer
3.3 Compressed air cleaning of valve seat: remove residual lapping paste & debris

Reassembly & Test
4.1 Reassemble valve assembly as marked
4.2 Conduct sealing/pressure test, check leakage and verify smooth operation
