Project description:

According to the ship information provided by the owner, the No. 3 generator exhaust gasket required replacement, so the SEAWAVE service team arrived at the Port of Shanghai on 11 Mar 2026 to perform the repair.

Details Of Service

1. Replace Gasket of Exhaust Pipe for No.3 Generator
1.1.- Isolate No.3 generator, allow cooling, remove insulation at exhaust pipe flange.
1.2.- Loosen and remove flange bolts, take out old gasket.
1.3.- Clean flange sealing faces thoroughly.
1.4.- Fit new gasket, align flanges, tighten bolts diagonally to torque.
1.5.- Refit insulation, check for leaks.
2. Repair the spare main engine piston after it is seated on the piston tooling plate, focusing on the pipelines and brackets underneath
2.1.- Place the spare main engine piston on the tooling plate and fix it securely.
2.2.- Inspect and clean the piston underside.
2.3.- Check, tighten or adjust the pipelines and brackets under the piston.
2.4.- Verify the installation condition, ensure no interference and no leakage.
