Details Of Service

As Requested, Our Service Team Attended The Subject Vessel between 1st Sep & 2nd Sep. During Her Berthing at Xiamen Terminal. China. The Reason For Attendance Was Provide Service For Telescopic Post for S-Band Radar UNABLE TO HOIST
. All Work Done Listed As Below:
1. Preparation work.
a)To Build scaffolding on top of bridge
b)Fabricated hoisting frame and installed on board
c)Removed Radar antenna and lifting on deck
d)Removed all connection cables
2. Repair work
a)To remove the collar ,ball screw , ratchet & coupling .etc
b)Found that 2 NSK bearings broken . Arranged to buy new bearings urgently at 2030 ,and installed
c)Installed new spares /ball screw
d)Tested with ship side found wheel /ball screw working smoothly .but there is no pressure ,and can not moving up and down
e)Checked again all parts excluding the screw nuts which inside of the mast pipe
f)According to the analysis by engineers and the ship side that should be screw nut broken or out of the seat
g)Due to there was no spares and time limitation . Team refit all parts back
3. Further repair plan when calling Yangshan
a)Need to dismantle /remove all parts again
b)To make access hole on mast pipe to check the condition of the screw nut
c)Need to order or fabricate new nut if the nut broken
