Project description:
According to the ship information provided by the owner,Air cooler leaks need to repair the leaking area , As a result, the SEASAVE service team conducted dismantling and repair operations on 2025.7.9 at the YanTian Port.
Progress:
Check and Mark the range according to the leakage area,remove steam release valve.
1 After inspecting the leakage area, use a hand chain hoist to remove the pipes, bolts, air cooler end cover fixing devices, air cooler covers and accessories
2.After removing the cover of the air cooler, Surface grinding and clean it
Progress:
Close the bleed valve and turn on the auxiliary blower.
1 Turn on the blower and use a dedicated pressure tool to look for leaks in the air cooler.
2.After inspection, it was found that the air cooler pipes were clogged. Special tools were used to clear the pipes to prevent clogging
Progress:
Stainless steel plugs leaking stoppage and test & Reinstall the air cooler valve、Bolts and connecting pipes.
1. Use a stainless steel plug to block the leaking pipe and test for leakage (tested, leaks resolved).
2. Replace the new gasket and install it
3. Apply new sealant, lift the air cooler cover with a hand chain hoist, tighten the bolts, install the air cooler cover fixing device, and finally connect the pipes and accessories
